NEW Corona $10 Meat Rebate

One of my BIGGEST tips during my coupon workshops is to start with the BEER!  Yep, the beer aisle is my favorite place in the grocery store.  And I don't drink (My husband does though!)

In North Carolina, alcohol companies are not allowed to require a beer/alcohol purchase for rebates or coupons.  Today, I found this:

It was on a Corona display in Harris Teeter.  It was not actually IN the beer aisle but rather on a "pallet" by the meat displays!  the rebate reads" Save $10 when you purchase ANY beer, seafood, and/or poultry item(s).  No beer purchase necessary."  Just send in the form, fill in the UPC codes  and the receipt with the price of meat circled. 

You will get a $10 refund check.  Yes I LOVE beer! this expires 7/31/2011.

4th Harris Teeter trip: 97% savings

This is what I got today:

Total Value: $52.06
Total OOP: $11.51 (BUT WAIT- I have a $10 rebate from Corona - so after rebate OOP= $1.51)
Total savings (after rebate)= 97%

Special K Booklet found in Lowes Foods

Be on the lookout for this really cool book from Special K!

The book is full of healthy recipes and weight loss tips.  PLUS in the back there are 3 cool coupons:

Savings: 61% Not bad for a bunch of Coca-Cola products and $12 worth of beef!  PLUS I picked up 2 GREAT coupons- one is a $5 rebate on any pruchase of baby back ribs from Blue Moon Beer and another is a FREE Kelloggs Special K Challenge booklet!  It has 4 coupons in the back!
