Walmart just updated their coupon policy to actually be one of the BEST ones out there - in just a few ways.
Here are the reasons why I like the rules:
1. If you buy an item that is $1 and the coupon is for $1.50- Walmart will now actually GIVE YOU CASH BACK. Yes, you heard me CASH BACK or apply the credit to the balance due for other items.
2. They will now accept Catalinas from other competitors that state requirements printed on them, a valid remit address for the manufacturer, valid expiration date, and a scannable bar code.
3. They will accept competitor coupons for a specific item for a specified price (like Walgreens' in ad coupons)
Now, for most of my shopping I will still get better deals at Walgreens or Harris Teeter or Lowes Foods. BUT for the rare item that I have a coupon for MUCH more then the item is worth- getting cash back and paying nothing will be AWESOME.

Friday EVIC emails
After some panic at week 2 of not getting an evic email I finally fixed it! Thanks to Harris Teeter customer service- somehow Time Warner had this domain as blocked in my "email rules" and I had to go to webmail to fix it - but I got it! Remember e-vic emails are targeted specifically to each member so these are MY evic specials and your will be different.

Sorry this is later than usual, I spent the entire day outside!
I ended up spending more than I planned because several items were priced higher than I had planned. I went ahead with the plan because I needed to roll rewards and I was getting back more than I was paying. ALSO I was under budget for this week & I really wanted the items.
Here are my totals:
