My *little* trip to Harris Teeter

I don't usually got to Harris Teeter for just a few little items during the week, I try to hold off until Saturday for the Saturday only special.  BUT I was in my evening class right there so I stopped by.  The good news: I did GREAT and got several items for our upcoming extended family lake trip (we bring a weeks worth of food for 13 people and usually spend less than $300 for the week!)  The bad news: I forgot my $2.50 catalina in the car and I was too tired to go get it (I know I'll use it this weekend).

I asked and my Harris Teeter allowed me to split my transactions on the B1G1 free items.

I got:

My total paid was $4.85.
I saved: $14.33
% savings:  75% (not too shabby considering the jam was $1.77 and the bread $1.17 and we actually needed them NOW).  The other items are going the stash for the lake trip this summer!
