Sunday Drug Store Shopping

Sorry this is later than usual...but it was SO beautiful out we spent all day doing yard work!

I was happy with my transactions today, even if hubby and kids added some items (shame on me for letting them come!)
TOTAL VALUE: $65.95
Total OOP: 6.67
Total Savings: 90%

Walgreens:
I got: 6 cans of Hunts Tomato sauce
2 cans pringles
1 box Refresh Tampons
1 Goody Hair Ties
1 Walgreens Brand men's lotion (Hubby texts me from the car that his hands r dry and to bring him lotion...sigh....even though we have no less than 5 BIG bottles of lotion at home)
1 Sunkist drink (this was $1.69 + tax worth of my total- again due to a text from my husband who is apparently dying of thirst even though we JUST left the house!)

Total Value:  20.60
Total OOP: $2.77 (plus tax for a total of 3.76)
Total Rewards back: $7
Total Savings: 87%

Rite Aid: I got:
3 Kleenex
2 Always
2 Craefree
2 M&Ms (due to pleading from my children)
Loaf of Bread
Smukers Jelly
Quilted Northern TP (purchased @ WAY too high of a cost because I thought we were out.  UNTIL I got home to put these away and found about 12 rolls had fallen off the shelf!  So, now we are good for a while)
2 Dove Hair
1 Johnson & Johnson Baby Oil

Total Value: $45.35
OOP: $3.90 (The cost of the jelly and M&Ms which were NOT part of my trip + tax for a OOP of 5.88)
Total Savings: 91.4%
Rewards Back: 10% off shopping pass! $6 UP+

(several of these items were needed and there are no good deals and haven't been for a while- such as the jelly (required for my daughter's lunches) and the bread.  We go though 3 or 4 loaves a week!  My freezer is FULL of veggies and meats so no room for bread right now. OH and did you notice the cute happy tablecloth?  Target had their Valentine's Day items 75% in Kernersville.  I stocked up on little treats for my kids (which will last past Easter!) and some decorative items that can be used year round!  With 3 little ones- vinyl tablecloths are AMAZING table savers!

My Harris Teeter Trip (again)

I LOVE my Harris Teeter. Whenever I "cheat" on them and go to a different store, I always end up going back.

Here is what I got today:

I got: 3 Yoplait Fiber Yogurts
8 Green Giant Veggies
Multi grain cheerios
Cinnamon Toast Crunch
2 Philadelphia Cooking Creams
Simply Orange
6 Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks
Loaf of Bread
Fiber 1 Bars

Total OOP: $3.58 (plus .70 tax)
Total Value: 64.77
Total Savings: 95%
PLUS I got a $3 betty crocker catalina.  My plan is to "roll" that into another GM deal!

My Next HT Trip Plans

My plan here will actually be less because I have a $5 credit on my Vic card AND I get a 5% student discount! So I expect it to be actually around $6.50 but I wanted to show a plan that anyone could use. Crossing my fingers that they have everything!
