Sunday Drug Store Scenerio


Here is my plan for my weekend drug store shopping:
Total Value: $100.90
Total OOP: $5.96
Total Rewards: $16.98
Total savings: 94%That is AMAZING for all that including diapers!
Lets see how it really turns out tomorrow!

Total Due= $5.47 (Pay with $4 in ECB from last week)
Total OOP= $1.47 + tax
Total Rewards back: $3.99

Rite Aid:
2 Hershey Miniature Bags $2.50 each- $1.50/2 (RP 1/23)= $3.50 total [1 UP]
2 Lays Potato Chips $2.50 each [1 UP]
4 Progresso Soups $1.50 each- $1/4 SS 12/5 -$1/4 Video Value= $4.50 [1 UP]
GE Light bulk 1.99 [1.99 UP]
2 Rite Aid Plastic Wraps $2 each [1 UP WYB 2]
KY 9.99- $5 printable = $4.99 [2 UP]
2 Rite Aid Cutlery 2.99 (these are B1G1 free)= 2.99 for 2

I am using a Wellness Coupon (for signing up for their newsletter) for $5
off purchase of $25 or more.

Total Due: $21.47 (paying with 20 in UP and $2 in video value money)
Total OOP: $0
Total Rewards Back: $3.99

Walgreens:
I usually try to limit myself to 1 transaction- but I can’t help it this week. 
#1:
6 Maalox @ 5.50 each- $5 maalox coupon (1/9 SS)
I will need some cheap filler- often can find 10-30 cent candies!
Total Due: $3 (pay with $2 in RR from last week)
Total OOP: $1
Rewards: $10

Nivea for Men 3.99-$1 coupon (there was a Nivea for Men booklet in the stores a few
weeks ago)= $2.99 [3 RR]
Huggies Jumbo Pack $8.99-$2 coupon (SS 1/23)=6.99 [2 RR]
Filler Item (.50 cents)

Total Due: $10.48 (use $10 RR from last order)
Total OOP: 0.48

Glad Trash Bags 6.99- $1 in Walgreens booklet - $3 printable (no longer
available)=$2.99

Total Due: $3.49 (use $3 in RR from last order)

No rewards, but left with $3 in RR (plus because I have $10 from last week I
will switch the old one and the new one out so I will keep the new one with a later expiration date)


I think it will turn out to be a great week!  Plus I will get points with my sister for getting her some free diapers!

  1. did you know that you can use your walgreens rewards at any store? they are manufacturers coupons for an amount off your total purchase. they can be used anywhere manufacturers coupons are accepted. i usually use mine at harris teeter so they never expire!
