I was SHOCKED today at my total. I was expecting about $3. This is what I got:
Cheerios (on sale $1.49 used .50 printed coupon and .50 evic= FREE)
6 pk bottled Coca Cola Zero (b1g1 1.88 evic special) used $1 coca cola coupon (recyclebank)= .88
2 fruit 2 days @ $1 each = $2 used (2) .45 coupons= .10 each
Buitoni fettucini b1g1 , $1.45, used $1 printable= .45
3 Sunsweet Plums $1.39 each used (3) .75 coupons= FREE
1 Texas Croutons $1, used 1 .50 coupon (plus there is a .25 savingstar coupon too!)= FREE
I used a .99 RR from Walgreens (they scanned it and it DOUBLED)
My total was NEGATIVE .75 cents!!
So I threw in a pack of .79 gum and paid a total of .01 YES 1 PENNY!
Total value: $25.95
total oop: .01
total savings: 99.961464% I think that is about as close to 100% as I can get at Harris Teeter!

ReplyDeleteEven if they didn't take the Walgreens RR, awesome! With the evic savings on the cheerios, is there a limit of one per week, per card , per day? Let me know if you know. A HT just opened up on my way to work and they had a triples event that week and I heard a rumor that they are going to do Super Doubles next week. If you can do this without all those extra events that is a fantastic example!
ReplyDeleteLisa- it depends on your store. Mine took it since it says manufacturer coupon on it. It scanned and doubled. If they had put it in manually it would not have doubled.
ReplyDeleteEmily: I know! The digital coupons are a 1 time use. Sometimes they will reappear and you can reload it but this one did not reappear for me :( I always check after a trip just in case! And yes, Super doubles is next week! look for a posting of deals tomorrow or Friday with regular prices! Then early in the week (tuesday at the latest) an updated post with MORE deals and Wednesday yet another list of deals! My savings during these events usually gets pretty high- close to 90% or higher. But 1 penny shocked me!
my e-vic coupons has a 55 and 50 coupon off cheerios. so i guess if u r "saving" them and haven't used them u could possibly has more than one as well. i'm gonna try today & see how i tgoes. :)
