Harris Teeter Super Doubles are COMING...get prepared!

Rumor has it that Harris Teeter Super Doubles are coming up starting Wednesday, Nov. 3.  Here are some VERY helpful tips to get prepared:

  • When out shopping, at the grocery store, gas station or even big box stores- if you see a coupon- Take it!  I'm not talking about stealing the peelies (those actually attached to a product) but the ones in the blinking Smart Source boxes hanging off the shelves or on tear off pads around the store.  You might not use them today, but you might next week!
  • Check out all the online coupon places and print off the ones you will use now, before they are gone!  These coupon limits often get reached VERY fast during super doubles or triples, so print now, save later!  Also, be sure to print in black only to save that colored ink!
  • Check your rain checks.  During super doubles or triples you can almost guarantee that they will run out of something that you were planning on buying.  Check your rain checks now to see if there is something you can use on this trip to save even more!
  • If you get the newspaper there are other places than just the Smart Source and Red Plum inserts with coupons.  Often the Parade magazine has one or two.  Also, a lot of monthly magazines have coupons too!
  • Check the products you already are using or done with using.  For example I just bought some Adam & Eve juice boxes at Lowes Foods (they were on sale and combined with my coupon they were about 50 cents for 8 boxes!)  I was about to throw the plastic wrap away when I saw on the inside of the cover was a 55 cent off coupon!  It is good for a long time!  Often there will be coupons where you least expect them!
