I went to Harris Teeter this morning armed with my coupon list. I ended up spending a total (from 3 transactions) of $3.67. The actual price of the items I purchased was $52.31. That is a savings of 93%! I think it is my best EVER...for now!
Here is a picture of one of my receipts. You can see I actually paid in cash 38 cents and saved $18.65!
Here is what I bought for $3.67:
6 Vitamin Waters (1.59 regular price EACH)
2 Colgate Toothpastes (regular price $2.85 EACH)
2 Wolfgang Puck Organic Soups ($3.25 each)
Mini chocolate donuts (2.69 - my treat to my kids for being good)
Marshmellows (.97)
3 Campbell Cooking soups (1.28 each)
2 Idahoan Mashed Potatoes (1.25 each)
5 lb. sugar (2.99)
1 bag M&Ms (had to buy since my total actually went into the negative!!)
5 boxes Jolly time Popcorn (2.69 each)
Country Crock Margarine (2.29)
I think that this was an AMAZING trip! I needed the sugar, so it was like I bought the sugar and got everything else free! We might not have a need right now for these items- but they were free. Sometimes I take my overstock and offer it free on craigslist.com or freecycle.org.
