Never pay for....

What are some personal care items you should never actually PAY for?  No, I don't mean you should steal them!  I mean using a combination of coupons and rewards, you should never really pay for any of these items (if you can help it)

-toothpaste
-deodorant
-Toothbrushes
-razors
-body wash
-floss
-cough drops
-lotion

Here are some items you should try to pay pennies on the dollar for, if you can't get them free:
-shampoo
-conditioner
-soap
-feminine products
-toilet paper
-makeup

If you are not brand loyal (which is easy to do if you are couponer- buy it on sale WITH a coupon or don't buy it at all!) my rule of thumb is "Can I get this at the dollar store for less than I am paying here?"  For example, they sell Suave or VO5 at the dollar store so if I am going to end up paying more than $1 at the drug store/grocery store I don't buy it!

Some recent deals at pharmacies have resulted in me getting the following for free/virtually free:
-cough medicine (Nyquil/Dayquil/children's medicine)
-cough drops
-Children's vitamins
-Tylenol muscle rub
-Makeup (I got a $18 bottle of face foundation for $1.75 after clearance price and coupons and store rewards!)
