AWESOME AWESOME NEWS!!!

OK I am jumping up and down about this because it has been my BIGGEST issue with Harris Teeter.............

Do you see anything missing from this coupon policy?

  • We accept coupons that have not passed their expiration date for use; we cannot accept any expired coupons.
  • We accept only one manufacturer coupon per purchased item.
  • We do not accept coupons on items not purchased.
  • Coupons must be presented at time of purchase; we cannot return money for coupons not used.
  • Coupons presented and items purchased must match exactly; size, variety, flavor, etc.
  • We uphold any purchase stipulations set forth by product manufacturer.
  • We accept one coupon per item purchased.
  • We accept coupons for items only of equal or more value; we do not give cash back.
  • Sales tax is paid by customer at full retail.
No?  Well, it USED to say only 1 coupon accepted on B1G1 free items!    It has been removed!  WHOOOOOOOOOOOO.   I am so excited, I have to redo my entire list for the rest of the week!  This is straight from www.HarrisTeeter.com

My source at Harris Teeter said the stores JUST received this the other day, so my suggestion is to be ready if the cashier fights you- but it's there in black and white!  This has been 100% confirmed with Harris Teeter's corporate office!

The bad news is I have to update my workshop for this weekend, but YES!

  1. I have a question...it may be a dumb one. How does the B1G1F coupons work with the triples? I've been wondering about it.

  2. It just takes off the regular/retail price it is not tripled or doubled :(

  3. They work like normal if they fall in line with the other terms of the policy. So if a loaf of bread is 2.25 but is on sale for b1g1 free and you have two coupons for 75 cents off, you'd get both loaves for free.

  4. OH...okay....thanks!

  5. I hope you post some deal with coupons that may have stated $/2 that may have been left out because the item was a B1G1 deal. I am excited but this is going to make a little more work - it may be a weekend project. =)

  6. How would you handle a cashier that says on BOGO items, and you try using 2 coupons, that you can't because you've only purchased 1 item, and you didn't purchase the free item???? I've had this happen. And according to the policy, it does state that each only 1 coupon per purchased item. Just curious on others thoughts so that I can be ready to address it with the cashiers when they try to catch me on it!

  7. The policy USED to expressly disallow (2) coupons per BOGO sets- so they didn't allow that. You ARE purchasing that item, they are charging you 1/2 of the regular price.

I have CONFIRMED this with their corporate office that the policy changed THIS week!
